About the event

Renal disease is a common comorbidity of geriatric feline patients. Concern for the exacerbation of renal disease is one of the most common reasons for vets to avoid anaesthesia in these patients. However, pain releiving procedures may be essentail to maintain the patient's quality of life. We will discuss how we can best manage patient with renal disease, from the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative period.
