Dr Fernando Martinez-Taboada

Fernando graduated as a veterinarian in Spain and worked for a number of years in small animal practice both in Spain and the UK. He undertook a residency in anaesthesia and analgesia at the University of Bristol, and he became an European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (DipECVAA) in 2010. Over the years, Fernando has worked in and headed anaesthesia departments in multiple private and university teaching hospitals. Fernando’s clinical and research interests focus in the management of acute and chronic pain, especially using procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural and spinal anaesthesia
Dr Donna White
BVSc (Hons) MVS DipECVAA
Donna completed her veterinary degree at Sydney University. She spent several years working as a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian in Australia, the UK and Canada. Donna then followed her passion for pain management by undertaking speciality training in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Sydney University. Since completing her training in 2018, Donna has worked in several private referral hospitals in Sydney. She has loved all aspects of her veterinary career but especially enjoys working with geriatric animals. Her own geriatric cat, Sebastian, is a regular patient of the SAPC, making the most of his twilight years.
